Psalm 94:19
In the multitudes of my anxieties within me.
Your comforts DELIGHT my soul.

Anxious? Worried? Confused? Unsettled? Here is a delightful promise. Jesus told us in John 16:33 that in this world we would have tribulation. Tribulation causes us to be anxious. Our promise from HIM is that HE has overcome the world and that in the “multitude of our anxieties”, He will comfort us and delight our soul! Receive HIS delightful comfort today!

2 Samuel 22:20
“He also brought me out into a broad place;
He delivered me because He DELIGHTED in me.

Many times throughout my walk with the Lord, I found myself in circumstances that were hard, uncomfortable, unexplainable and discouraging. I could feel the grip of depression trying to suck me in. If that describes you today, this is a great promise for you. Keep focused on Jesus. Make decisions that would please Him. He will lead you out into the broad place. God loves us. He is our Deliverer and will rescue us.

My favorite verse, as you probably can tell by now is Psalm 37:04
“DELIGHT yourself also in the Lord,
and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
The word “delight” means:
“a high degree of gratification : joy; also : extreme satisfaction”
I love this word “delight”. It summarizes the attitude we have toward our God. We have so much to be grateful for (forgiveness of sins, eternal life, abundant life); He fills us with His joy (which is our strength); and gives us satisfaction like nothing else can.
Throughout these years of walking with the Lord, He has shown me time and time again that He knows me better than I know myself. As I delight in Him, He is faithful to give me the desires of my heart. Many of which I had no idea about or would ever think of! He knows. He knows. He knows.
The Bible has many other scriptures which talk about “delighting”. Stay tuned as we

G.R.A.C.E. God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense

We don’t work for it. We don’t deserve it. It is a gift. A gift that is free to us – but was very expensive for Jesus. He paid the ultimate price – His very life – to give us this gift. Forgiveness of sins and eternal life. We just believe and receive. The gospel is simple.

What to wear?? What to wear? Many daze I stand staring into my closet asking myself that question. The closet is full of lots of choices. Comfortable, casual, …dressy. There are choices and action in the process of getting dressed – in the natural – but more importantly in the Spirit.

God gives us a wardrobe to wear everyday – make that every minute. It is found in Ephesians 6:11-20.

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, [fn] against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints–and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Everyone of us is in a battle. God has issued us His equipment. It’s our choice to put it on.

Walk as His victorious soldier.

John 19:5 Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And [Pilate] said to them, “Behold the Man!”

Graphic, horrific images of Jesus standing next to Pilate wearing the crown of thorns and purple robe flood my mind and heart when I read this scripture. Humbled and brutally beaten. The Man of Sorrows stood before a condemning crowd – and He had done no wrong. Such Love. The day would get worse as He walked the road to Calvary, was crucified and died for OUR sin. Such Love. And then – three days later – He rose from the dead, defeating the power of the enemy. Victory is His. He offers us His free gift – forgiveness and eternal life – our freedom purchased at the expense of His own blood. Such Love.

Just got these in. Beautiful reminder of His suffering love for us.

“At the Cross. At the Cross
Where I first saw The Light
And the burden of my heart rolled away
It was there by faith, that I received my sight
And now I am happy all the day”.

I Corinthians 1:18 tells us “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
The cross. The symbol of His ultimate sacrifice and love for us. It is everywhere we look – but often overlooked. The symbol of the cross has no power – the power of the gospel is in the message that it carries. A symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Jesus, the Savior of the world. A symbol of forgiveness, healing, cleansing, new life, freedom….the list goes on and on.

John 10:10 tell us that “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have [it] more abundantly”.
The cross is also a symbol of “abundant life”. It is a win/win for us in Jesus. We exchange our junk for His treasure.

Rev 3:20 tells us “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me”.

Don’t be a fool and ignore the message of the cross. Open your heart to Jesus today.

I love Jesus, because HE first loved me. (1 John 4:19) Simple as that.
How many times do we hear the words “Jesus loves you” or “God loves you” and not let those words penetrate our hearts. The deep love that God has for us should never be taken lightly.
Probably the most popular verse in the bible is John 3:16 ” “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Jesus left His throne in heaven to come to the earth – to live as we live – and to die a very painful, agonizing death, in order to rescue us and set us free from the bondage of sin.
It was the Father’s love that sent His son to die for us, when we were still sinners. Such love.
1 John 3:1 tells us “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! ….”
We are washed in His blood and filled with His Spirit for the purpose of walking in victory. We are His kids and He daily loads us with benefits. Enjoy the gift of forgiveness and the benefits of being His child today. He loves us so.

These earrings are so cute! As you can see, they are FROGS. F.R.O.G. – Fully Rely On God.
One of my favorite verses is Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”
This scripture gives us very explicit direction to walk our Christian walk.
Step #1 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding”. Have a heart fully persuaded that He loves us and is trustworthy. In releasing control of our lives to the Lord, we are not stepping out on a limb – but on a very strong foundation – a Solid Rock.
Step #2 – “In all your ways acknowledge Him”. The Lord is interested in every detail of our lives. It is essential that we take time to pray and ask Him for direction and guidance. Keep Him in mind that all we do, because all that we do is service to Him.
That’s our part.
The promise – His part “…..and He shall direct your paths”.
After being a Christian for thirty years, I have realized that God has gotten me to where He wants me, in spite of myself. Sometimes it was a joy-filled journey; sometimes He carried me; and sometimes He just dragged me until He got me to where He wanted me. Through it all, I can say His ways are truly higher than mine (Isaiah 55:9) and His plan was all about giving me a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11)
If He is your co-pilot today – Move Over. Give Him full control – He can be trusted.

“Amazing Grace”. How sweet that sound is to my ears. G.R.A.C.E. God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.
Luke 12:32 tells us.. “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom”.
Romans 14:17 tells us “for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
I love that the Lord refers to us as “little flock”. An indication of His constant care and leading in our lives. It is His “good pleasure” to lavish us with His Kingdom; which is Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Spirit. When we have God’s Kingdom; there is no need for anything else. Righteousness – knowing that the blood of Jesus has cleansed our sins and put us in right-standing with God. Peace and joy to carry us through the circumstances and tribulations of this world.
Amazing Grace. How sweet the sound, indeed. A Jacuzzi for the soul!
